Get Paid for Working at the Polls

Be an Inspector, Judge or Clerk: You must be 16 years of age to serve as any precinct election officer, other than the inspector, or assist any precinct election officer and be a Democrat.
Sign up for the Election Travel Board – Absentee voting by travel board is an option for some voters who are confined or caring for a confined voter, to have a bi-partisan team deliver the voter’s ballot and assist the person with completing their ballot during the 19-day period before the election. The bi-partisan team brings the voting machine to the voter’s residence to allow them to vote.

Other Ways to Volunteer

Voter Registration – registering voters at events, schools, festivals, etc.
Volunteer at HQ – answering phones, putting together campaign literature, assisting campaigns as needed.
Parades – getting exercise, giving candy to kids, supporting your favorite candidate or team, hanging out with like-minded people.

Yard Signs – got a yard? Get a sign to show your support for your candidate(s).

Make phone calls/texting – Helping to get out the vote” “Knock doors/canvass – campaigning for LC candidates or hanging literature.
​
Write letters to the editor – people do still read the paper and opinions are important” “Host/co-host a house party.
​
Fundraiser – for your favorite candidates.
